Eurovision winners ABBA (Sweden 1974) and Måneskin (Italy 2021), have been nominated for the 65th edition of the Grammys across different categories.
The nominees for the 65th edition of the Grammy’s were announced earlier this week. In the announcement, ABBA’s comeback single Don’t Shut Me Down was nominated for “Record of the Year”. ABBA’s new album Voyage is also in the running for both “Album of the Year” and “Best Pop Vocal Album”. They also received another nomination for “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance”, making it their fourth Grammy nomination.
Eurovision 2021 winner, Måneskin, who has been making waves in the United States, has also been nominated in the category of “Best New Artist”. This is their very first Grammy nomination.
Konstrakta (Serbia 2022), revealed that she was also considered for a Grammy this year, but she, unfortunately, didn’t make the nominees list.
The 65th Grammys will take place on February 5th in Los Angeles, California, United States

Sweden debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 and has gone on to be one of the contest’s most successful countries. The country has won the contest six times, the most recent being in 2015. Sweden’s first victory came in 1974 when ABBA won the contest in Brighton with “Waterloo”. Since missing out on the final in 2010, Sweden has gone on to finish 3rd twice and has won the contest twice, only in 2013 and 2021 did the country place outside of the top 10 in the final.
