France’s Eurovision 2025 representative Louane, has traveled to Switzerland to film her postcard for the contest.

As filming continues, France is the latest country to visit this year’s host nation to shoot their postcard segment. The singer shared on social an image of her arriving in the country and being met by the team from the Swiss broadcaster.

Over the past few weeks, artists from the 37 participating countries have been travelling to Switzerland to record short clips that will be shown during the live broadcasts of the contest in May.

Loaune is set to perform their entry, “Maman”, in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland.

Postcards

This year marks the first time since 2019 that all postcards will be filmed entirely in the host country. In the past 5 years, artists have been superimposed on locations in the host country, seen visiting locations they are from or shown alongside past entries from their country.

Postcards have been a part of Eurovision since 1970, originally serving as a way to promote the host country. Over time, they have evolved into short segments that introduce the artists while allowing time for the stage to be set for the next performance.
