The eight artists that will compete on Saturday to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 have been determined.
The Second Semi-Final of Benidorm Fest 2023 has been held with four artists qualifying for the Grand Final. In total nine artists competed this evening live from the Palau Municipal d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm. The results of Semi-Final Two were:
- Blanca Paloma – “Eaea” – 92 + 35 +40 – 167 points – Qualified
- Vicco – “Nochentera” (The Entire Night) – 67 + 40 +28 – 135 points – Qualified
- Karmento – “Quiero y duelo” (I want and I hurt) – 47+30+35 – 112 points – Qualified
- José Otero – “Invierno en Marte” (Winter on Mars) – 63 + 22 + 20 – 105 points – Qualified
- Alfred García – “Desde que tú estás” (Since you are) – 52 + 20 + 30 – 102 points
- Siderland – “Que esclati tot” (Let everything explode) – 48 + 15 + 25 – 88 points
- Famous – “La Lola” – 46 + 28 + 13 – 87 points
- E’Femme – “Uff!” – 17 + 25 + 22 – 64 points
- Rakky – “Tracción” (Traction) – 24 + 13 + 15 – 52 points
The voting system remains the same as last year. In all three shows, the results are decided by a professional jury (50%), a demoscopic jury (25%) and public voting (25%). The professional jury will comprise of Spanish and international music industry professionals.

Spain debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has competed annually since, making them the longest participating country that has never withdrawn. Spain has won the contest on two occasions; the first being in 1968 and the second time in 1969. 1969 is the only year where more than one song has won the contest. The 1969 contest saw a four-way tie between Spain, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
