Teleradio-Moldova has announced it will select its act for Eurovision 2022 following tomorrow’s live auditions round.
The Moldovan broadcaster has opted to internally select its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. TRM and a jury will select the nation’s representative for Turin following the live auditions round which is taking place tomorrow from 13:00 to 16:00 CET.
The decision to internally select the Moldovan representative is as a result of:
the Organizing Committee (noting) the impossibility of organizing and broadcasting the final stages televised in connection with the epidemiological situation in the country and the significant increase, lately, in the number of COVID-19 infections.
A total of twenty-eight artists with twenty-nine songs will be competing to represent Moldova in Turin. The artists and songs competing are:

Moldova debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 when the contest was held in Kyiv, Ukraine. That year, Bulgaria also debuted in the contest and Hungary returned after a long absence since 1998. Moldovaโs best result in the contest to date was 3rd place in 2017 for Sunstroke Project with โHey Mamma!โ, this was the second time the group had represented their country in Eurovision.
