A total of 1.6 million viewers watched the Junior Eurovision Song Contest live from the French capital yesterday afternoon.
1,638,000 people tuned in on France 2 to watch the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. This is the largest audience France has seen for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The viewing figures from previous years:
- 2018 – 1.16 million viewers
- 2019 – 980,000 viewers
- 2020 – 1.2 million viewers
French representative Enzo finished in 3rd place at the contest with his song “Tic Tac”. He received a total of 187 points.
Armenia won the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Malรฉna and her song “Qami Qami”. This is the second time the nation has won the contest, the first time being in 2010.

France first participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 with โSi on voulait bienโ by Thomas but withdrew the year after. After a 14-year break, France returned to the contest in 2018 with โJamais sans toiโ by Angรฉlina. In 2020 Valentina would take victory in the contest with the song โJโImagineโ topping both the public and jury vote with a total of 200 points.
