Sara James performs her Junior Eurovision entry “Somebody” at the Voice of Poland Final.
Poland’s 2021 Junior Eurovision singer Sara James has performed her Junior Eurovision entry live at the final of the Voice Poland. The singer is no stranger to the Voice having won the most recent edition of the Voice Kids Poland. Earlier this week the singer released the music video to her Christmas-themed single “Jak co roku” along with releasing her first album.
Sara was chosen to represent Poland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 after her victory at Szansa na Sukces: Eurowizja Junior 2021. Sara will sing “Somebody” at the contest in Paris next month.
Who is Sara James?
Sara James is twelve years old and comes from a musical family in Ośno Lubuskie in western Poland. She started learning to play the piano at six years old and has been singing at the Słubice Municipal Cultural Center for the last four years. The singer won the most recent edition of The Voice Kids Poland.
Sara was chosen to represent Poland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 after her victory at Szansa na Sukces: Eurowizja Junior 2021. Sara James released her first album on December 3, ahead of her participation at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Poland participated in the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. After two consecutive last-place finishes, they withdrew from the contest and did not return until 2016. From there on, Poland’s fortunes in the contest reversed resulting in Roksana Węgiel winning in 2018 with “Anyone I Want to Be”. In 2019, the contest was hosted in the Polish city of Gliwice. Viki Gabor won on home ground with “Superhero”, giving Poland a second consecutive victory.
