Mario Acampa and Marta Viola who competed in 2019, are set to provide the commentary for Rai Gulp at Junior Eurovision 2021.
At least two commentators will be providing their voices to the Italian coverage of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Mario Acampa and Marta Viola have been confirmed as part of the commentary team, with a third person currently in negotiations regarding the role.
Mario Acampa has commentated on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since 2017, this year will make him the longest serving commentator for Italy at the contest. Joining him is Marta Viola who represented Italy in 2019 with “La voce della terra”.
The 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be broadcast live on Rai Gulp.
Who is Elisabetta Lizza?
Elisabetta comes from Ardo in the province of Brescia in northern Italy. For the last three years, she has been performing in musicals and entering local competitions. Apart from singing, she also enjoys dancing, playing the piano and eating Italian food with her friends and family. Her favourite artists are Sam Smith, Bruno Mars and the reigning Eurovision champions Måneskin.

Italy debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2014. Their first and only win to date was on their debut, when Vincenzo Cantiello came in 1st place with 159 points with his song “Tu Primo Grande Amore”. Their worst result was in 2015 when twins Chiara & Martina came 16th with 34 points with their song “Viva”. Since their debut, Italy have participated in every contest except for 2020.
