RTVE has announced that Tony Aguilar and Julia Varela will be commentating on Junior Eurovision 2021, with one of the dancers revealing the Spanish points.
Ahead of the 19th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Paris, France, it has been revealed that Tony Aguilar and Julia Varela will take on the role of commentator for Spain. This is the third contest in a row Tony is commentating on while Julia returns to Junior Eurovision having last commentated in 2019.
Lucía Arcos will be the Spanish spokesperson revealing the results of the nation’s jury. Lucía is one of the dancers that will be performing on stage with Levi Díaz. This is the second time that Lucía has performed at Junior Eurovision having also performed in 2020, they commented:
I feel very happy and proud that they chose me. It is a responsibility, but I’m very excited and happy,
Who is Levi Díaz?
Levi Díaz is 13 years old and comes from Cornellà de Llobregat in the province of Barcelona. He started in the world of music just over a year ago. His preferred style is modern pop, as it allows for more interpretation. His biggest musical idol is Frank Sinatra. He also likes Rosalía and his most listened-to Eurovision song is “Toy”.

Spain first took part in the contest in 2003 and participated every year between then and 2006. In 2004, María Isabel brought Spain their only victory so far with “Antes muerta que sencilla”. After an absence of 13 years, Spain returned to the contest in 2019 with “Marte” by Melani García. Spain has finished in the top 5 in all of their attempts.
