RTVE has announced that TVE Internacional will once more broadcast the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 to viewers all over the world.
TVE Internacional is set to air this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, allowing viewers all over the world to see RTVE coverage of the contest in a wide range of international markets. TVE Internacional has been broadcasting the contest since Spain’s return in 2019. This is in addition to RTVE’s own local broadcast of the contest on its flagship channel La 1.
TVE Internacional can be viewed in all Latin American countries, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. RTVE is also reported to be making a short special program to inform new viewers of what Junior Eurovision is and Spain’s history at the Contest so far. RTVE is also due to announce the commentators for its coverage of the event soon.
This year Levi Díaz will sing for Spain at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The Spanish Junior Eurovision entrant, Levi Díaz, will sing his song “Reír”. The music video features Levi, alongside four dancers: Lorena Hernández, Francisco Javier Gonzáles, Claudio Sánchez and Kiara García.
Who is Levi Díaz?
Levi Díaz is 13 years old and comes from Cornellà de Llobregat in the province of Barcelona. He started in the world of music just over a year ago. His preferred style is modern pop, as it allows for more interpretation. His biggest musical idol is Frank Sinatra. He also likes Rosalía and his most listened-to Eurovision song is “Toy”.

Spain first took part in the contest in 2003 and participated every year between then and 2006. In 2004, María Isabel brought Spain their only victory so far with “Antes muerta que sencilla”. After an absence of 13 years, Spain returned to the contest in 2019 with “Marte” by Melani García. Spain has finished in the top 5 in all of their attempts.
