Consi has been announced as the German commentator for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
Constantin Zöller, better known as Consi, is a radio and television presenter. He presents “Gottschalk und Zöll” alongside Thomas Gottschalk on SWR3 Radio. He can also be heard on the national radio show “ARD Popnacht”. In the lead up to the German general election this year, he interviewed three candidates for the role of Chancellor in the ARD production “Kampf ums Kanzleramt – wer regiert Deutschland?” (Fight for the Chancellery – who rules Germany?). He also appeared as the reporter on the Pierre M. Krause Show on SWR TV and has done reports from music festivals such as Rock am Ring and Southside.
Consi is also well known in the German Eurovision community. From 2018 to 2020, he took part in Songcheck, the German Eurovision preview show. In 2021, he was a member of the German jury for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
Consi commented on his new role:
“I think the fearlessness of the participants in Junior Eurovision is really great! I am impressed by them being able to do their thing on an international stage. I’m looking forward to rousing performances and unbelievable joy in an atmosphere that only Junior Eurovision can achieve.”
Pauline was selected as the German representative through Junior ESC – Wer fährt nach Paris? which was held in September. She was selected as the German representative by 100% online voting.
Who is Pauline?
Pauline is twelve years old and comes from Wolken in Rhineland-Palatinate. As well as playing the drums and piano, she also enjoys listening to pop music and musicals. She has won several prizes at “Jugend musiziert” throughout her career.

Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest
Germany made their debut at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2020. They were represented by Susan with the song “Stronger with You”, scoring 66 points. They were last in the jury vote receiving 27 points, the highest of which was 6 points from France. They also ended last in the online vote with 39 points.
