According to ESCPlus, the French broadcaster of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has already started to look for volunteers at the contest.
It has been brought to ESCPlus’ attention that having a COVID-19 vaccination passport is required for all volunteers. They have to be available during the full week of December 11th-20th, from 8 am to 8 pm. Furthermore, the volunteers have to be bilingual in both French and English and will be chosen through interviews.
It is said that the volunteers will have to pay for their accomodation but will recieve free meals. France Télévisions intends to give a small reward to the volunteers but it is not yet specified what this reward consists of.
The 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in La Seine Musicale, Paris, France on Sunday 19th December. The contest will be hosted by France for the first time following Valentina’s victory at the 2020 contest with her song “J’imagine”.
