Anna Gjebrea has been selected to represent Albania at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Paris, France.
Albania will be represented by Anna Gjebrea at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The singer revealed on social media this evening that she was announced as the winner of Junior Fest 2021 and will now compete in Paris this December.
12-year-old Anna is the daughter of Ardit Gjebrea who is the Producer of Kënga Magjike, as well as the host of E Diela Shqiptare.
She will be performing “Stand By You” in Paris the team behind the song is formed of Adam Watts, Gannin Arnold, Sanni M’Mairura and Endi Çuçi.
Albania is returning to Junior Eurovision this year having not taken part in Junior Eurovision 2020, citing Covid-19 restrictions as the reason for their withdrawal. Their last participation was in 2019, where Isea Çili finished 17th with “Mikja ime fëmijëri”.

Albania first debuted in the Junior Eurovision Contest in 2012, and to date have had six entries. The country is still yet to win the contest, and their best result was in 2015, when Mishela Rapo performed her song “Dambaje”, which scored a total of 93 points and ended on 5th place. Albania were absent from the contest in 2013 and 2014, before returning again in 2015.
