Today Albania closes the submissions window for Festivali i Këngës 60 and Junior Fest.
RTSH closes the submissions windows for their Eurovision and Junior Eurovision selections today. Junior Fest submissions opened just over two weeks, with Albania searching for their event representative for Junior Eurovision. It is not yet known whether Junior Fest is a televised, online or internal selection
The submissions window for Festivali i Këngës had originally been due to close on September 30, however was extended by a further 16 days by the broadcaster. Once the submissions close a jury will shortlist the acts that will compete in the contest which is expected to be held in late December.
Festivali i Këngës has been used since Albania made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 to select the nation’s entry. The competition is traditionally held in December and features Semi-Finals and a Grand Final.
