The official music video for Poland’s Junior Eurovision 2021 entry “Somebody” has been released this morning.
Poland has released the official music video for “Somebody” by Sara James this morning. The reveal took place on ‘Pytanie na Śniadanie’ on TVP, the music video tells the story that we can all be a help to someone when they are down or afraid.
Who is Sara James?
Sara James is twelve years old and comes from a musical family in Ośnie Lubuskie. She started learning to play the piano at six years old and has been singing at the Słubice Municipal Cultural Center for the last four years. Sara won the most recent edition of The Voice Kids Poland, and will represent her country at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Somebody”.

Poland participated in the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. After two consecutive last-place finishes, they withdrew from the contest and did not return until 2016. From there on, Poland’s fortunes in the contest reversed resulting in Roksana Węgiel winning in 2018 with “Anyone I Want to Be”. In 2019, the contest was hosted in the Polish city of Gliwice. Viki Gabor won on home ground with “Superhero”, giving Poland a second consecutive victory.
