Khabar will reveal the thirty acts going through to the online stage of the Kazakh Junior Eurovision selection at 15:00 CET on October 7.
The Kazakh broadcaster Khabar will be revealing the thirty acts through to the next stage of the nation’s Junior Eurovision selection at 15:00 CET tomorrow. The broadcaster is organising a press conference at the Kazmedia Center in Astana.
The thirty acts are being selected by a jury who will spend tomorrow assessing all of the applications that have been received over the past week. Once the thirty acts are announced online voting will commence on October 8 to select the final ten who will compete in a live final on November 6.
Karakat Bashanova represented Kazakhstan in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with “Forever”. She finished second with 152 points, finishing second in the jury vote and third in the public vote.

Kazakhstan first participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2018, with Daneliya Tuleshova and her song “Ozine sen”. She went on to finish in 6th place. The following year, the country was represented by Yerzhan Maksim with the song “Armanyńnan qalma”, which scored a total of 227 points. Kazakhstan won the jury vote scoring 148 points, but was 5th with the online vote scoring 79 points, and finished in 2nd place overall.
