Intelligent Music Project has stated they are set to represent Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
In an interview with BNR, the radio division of BNT (Bulgarian National Television) the group Intelligent Music Project stated that they’re set to sign a contract to represent the nation at Eurovision 2022 in Italy. BNT has yet to comment on whether the group is set to represent Bulgaria in Italy.
The comments regarding the Eurovision Song Contest came while discussing their upcoming concert in Plovdiv on September 25th at the Antique Theater, the group also revealed their intentions and approach for their upcoming 7th album. The album will be dedicated to unconditional love and will follow with a tour.
Intelligent Music Project are a rock band created by Milen Vrabevski. The group has to date released six studio albums and have worked with rock musicians from across the globe.
BNT has yet to publicly confirm their participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, or state how they would select their participant for the contest in Italy.

At the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, 17-year-old Kristian Kostov finished in second place in the Grand Final, bringing Bulgaria their best ever result. 2017 saw Bulgaria make only their third final in their Eurovision history, the first being in 2007 when Elitsa & Stoyan finished 5th with the song “Water”. Bulgaria debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2005. The country competed annually from 2005 to 2013, before withdrawing for two years due to financial issues.
