America’s tallest man Igor Vovkovinskiy has passed away aged 38.
Igor, who appeared on the Eurovision stage alongside Zlata Ognevich in 2013, had diabetes and additional health problems and had succumbed to heart disease last Friday. At 7 feet 8 1⁄3 inches, Igor’s growth was down to a tumour that was pressing on his pituitary gland, which released excessive amounts of growth hormone.
Over the course of his career, he has acted in numerous commercials and films, such as Hall Pass. Igor and his family moved over to Minnesota, the United States when he was 7 years old.
The Eurovoix team would like to express our condolences to Igor’s family and friends at this difficult time.
