RTVE will announce all the details about Spain’s participation in Junior Eurovision 2021 in September.
There are less than five months until the nineteenth edition of Junior Eurovision takes place. The event will take place in the French capital after the victory of Valentina and her song “J’imagine” in Warsaw (Poland). The festival will be held on Sunday, December 19. Since 2012, no other edition had been held in the Christmas month.
Many countries have already started their national selections, such as the Junior Songfestival in the Netherlands or the classic preselections in Malta and Poland. Another country that has announced details has been Germany. However, some countries like France have confirmed that they will elect their representatives internally.
The Spanish television has made the following statement about Junior Eurovision:
“All the details of the system to elect the Spanish representative in Junior Eurovision at the end of the summer, in September”
In August, RTVE will continue working on the junior version of the European festival to have everything ready in autumn. The broadcast will also prepare all the details of the call’s opening for the Spanish national selection that will be held in Benidorm (Alicante).
