San Marino RTV has confirmed that they will not be participating in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Paris, France.
The San Marinese broadcaster has confirmed to ESCplus that they will not be returning to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest later this year. San Marino last participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 when the competition was held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
San Marino first tried to participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest at the 2011 contest in Yerevan, Armenia. The country debuted two years later at the 2013 contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. The countries best result came in 2013 when Michele Perniola finished 10th with “O-o-O Sole intorno a me”.
Paris will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 on December 19 in La Seine Musicale. The following countries have confirmed their participation so far:
