Senhit has revealed to Vanity Fair that she genuinely didn’t know if Flo Rida would appear at Eurovision until the last minute.
Senhit has revealed that in the build-up to Eurovision 2021 she genuinely did not know whether Flo Rida would appear on stage with her in Rotterdam. The singer explained that:
Until the end, I didn’t know if he would come. I pretended to create a mystery around him, but the truth is that it was not easy to move from America.
The singer also gave her first public comments on her result in the Grand Final:
For heaven’s sake, I didn’t expect victory, but I was a bit disappointed with my placement.
It is the second time that I have participated, I should have remembered it, and instead, it is as if there was a part of me that forgets it. San Marino deserved more.
Speaking about what comes next after two years of waiting for the Eurovision Song Contest, Senhit said:
There are a thousand projects, “Adrenalina” is working very well. We want to remix it for the summer, there’s a big name at stake, and release a new single after that. And, subject to the restrictions, do some promotion around. It’s hard to reset after two years of preparing for this show.
I feel happily drained, but also lost. But I’m ready for the many beautiful things that await me
San Marino finished 22nd out of 26 countries in the Grand Final, however, the nation picked up its first-ever 12 points in the contest from the Polish jury.

San Marino debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 alongside Azerbaijan. On their debut they were represented by Miodio and the song “Complice”, and finished last in their semi final with just 5 points. San Marino withdrew from the contest before returning again in 2011. Since then the country has participated annually and in 2014 qualified for their first final. The nations worst result came in 2017 when Valentina Monetta represented San Marino for the fourth time alongside Jimmie Wilson with “Spirit of the Night.” The pair finished last in their semi-final with just 1 point.
