The delegation of San Marino is continuing to tease the potential appearance of Flo Rida at Eurovision in Rotterdam.
Speculation continues about whether the American rapper will join Senhit to perform Adrenalina in the second semi final on Thursday, 20 May.
During rehearsals at the Ahoy arena in Rotterdam a stand-in rapper has performed the rap verse on the track and the Sammarinese team have not confirmed to the media whether Flo Rida will be present in the live semi-final or jury semi-final. In her second rehearsal, Senhit decorated the golden ornament featured in the performance with pictures of the rapper, alongside some question marks.
Now, the head of San Marino’s delegation has continued the speculation. San Marino RTV quotes Head of Delegation Alessandro Capicchioni today as confirming there was no further updates on the situation and joking: “Let’s look at the sky: if we see a plane coming from Philadelphia or Miami, then it could arrive.”
Senhit and her dancers are continuing to rehearse their performance in a dedicated part of their hotel in Rotterdam. Meanwhile, Flo Rida posted today on Instagram from Phoenix, Arizona. The San Marino team will next be on stage for dress rehearsal on Wednesday and then the jury semi-final on Wednesday evening. It remains to be seen if Flo Rida will be joining them.

San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest
San Marino debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 alongside Azerbaijan. On their debut, they were represented by Miodio and the song “Complice”, and finished last in their semi-final with just 5 points. San Marino withdrew from the contest before returning again in 2011. Since then the country has participated annually and in 2014 qualified for their first final. The nation’s worst result came in 2017 when Valentina Monetta represented San Marino for the fourth time alongside Jimmie Wilson with “Spirit of the Night.” The pair finished last in their semi-final with just 1 point.
