The official music video for TIX’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 “Fallen Angel” has been released.
The official music video for the Norwegian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has been released today. “Fallen Angel” by TIX was chosen to represent Norway at this years contest in February, winning the nations selection Melodi Grand Prix. The music video tells the story of TIX from childhood to now and the bullying that he has been subjected to.
Who is Tix
TIX (Andreas Haukeland) was born on 12th April 1993 in Bærum, Norway. His stage name “TIX” (“ticks”) is a nod to his diagnosed Tourettes syndrome. The singer is an advocate for mental health openness and has shared his thoughts and experiences in the past.
He began his professional music career in 2016, where his debut studio album Dømt og berømt reached number 2 in the Norwegian Albums Charts. Since then, he’s gone on to release numerous singles, including “Jeg vil ikke leve”, “Kaller på deg”, and “Karantene”, all of which reached #1 in the Norwegian charts. He also co-wrote the hit “Sweet but Psycho” by Ava Max. As of 2021 TIX’s has had five number one hits singles in the Norwegian charts.
In 2021 TIX’s won Melodi Grand Prix and so won the right to represent Norway at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Fallen Angel”.

Norway debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960 and have won the contest three times – in 1985, 1995 and 2009. The country has the dubious record of finishing last the most times, eleven in total, and have received nul points four times. Norway last won the contest in 2009 when Alexander Rybak broke all records with his song “Fairytale”. He scored 387 points in the final, receiving 16 sets of 12 points and scoring points from every country.
