Shalisa who represented The Netherlands at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, was one of this year’s stand-in artists.
The former Junior Eurovision singer posted on her Instagram revealing that she has been taking part in the stand-in rehearsals for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

The stand-in artists and dancers were selected from Rotterdam Codarts and Albeda College, with fourteen dancers and ten singers will be offered internships. In previous years clips from the stand in rehearsals have been released after the contest.
Shalisa sang the song “Million Lights” for The Netherlands at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest when she was just 15 years old. The singer finished 15th in Sofia. The 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest was won by Destiny from Malta who is now one of the front runners to win this year Eurovision Song Contest.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will take place on May 18, 20 and 22 in Rotterdam. A total of 39 countries will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Eurovision 2020 was due to be held in Rotterdam after Duncan Laurence gave the Netherlands their first victory since 1975 with the song “Arcade”. After the cancellation of the 2020 contest, it was decided that Rotterdam would host the 2021 contest instead.
