The host of this year’s Eurovision Online Press Center and press conferences have been revealed by AVROTROS.
The four hosts of this year’s Eurovision press conferences and for the first online press centre have been announced. Koos van Plateringen, Hila Noorzai, Samya Hafsaoui and Rutger Vink will work together to mediate this year’s press conferences and also provide updates to the online press center.
Koos van Plateringen, Hila Noorzai and Samya Hafsaoui will be present at the on-site press conferences. In total, they will lead 83 press conferences, live from the press centre in Rotterdam Ahoy throughout the two weeks of the competition.
Press conferences are held for each delegation and also among the finalists of each semi-final and the winner of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Attending each press conference will be up to 1500 members of the press, these will include around 500 journalists on-site within the press centre and a further 1000 accessing the event via the online press centre.
In addition, Koos van Plateringen, Hila Noorzai and Samya Hafsaoui will also present daily News Updates for the Online Press Center. Hila Noorzai and Samya Hafsaoui will also take on the roles of the online Hosts for the Dutch channels of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will take place on May 18, 20 and 22 in Rotterdam. A total of 39 countries will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Eurovision 2020 was due to be held in Rotterdam after Duncan Laurence gave the Netherlands their first victory since 1975 with the song “Arcade”. After the cancelation of the 2020 contest, it was decided that Rotterdam would host the 2021 contest instead.
