Speaking on the latest episode of The Euro Trip podcast, Croatia’s Eurovision 2021 representative has revealed her hopes for her final finishing position in Rotterdam.
Albina will sing “Tick-Tock” in The Netherlands after winning Dora in February, and told presenter Rob Lilley she hoped to turn around her country’s poor run of form at the contest.
“I always dream big, so I would really like to see my song in top ten. I believe I have chances with good staging.”
“For our country it would be big success to even qualify for the finals, because recent years we haven’t managed to do that unfortunately.”
Croatia last qualified for the Grand Final in 2017, and have only done so twice in the last decade.
Albina also took time to thank the fans across Europe who have been listening to her song since it was released.
“Thank you to all the fans to recognising my song, me as a performer, and thank you for all your support.”
Croatia will perform in the first semi-final in Rotterdam, and you can listen to Albina’s full interview on The Euro Trip podcast from 44.45″ on this week’s episode.
