Dutch regional media outlet Omroep Zeeland have revealed two additional locations of the Eurovision 2021 postcards, the beach of Vlissingen and the Kloeveniersdoelen in Middelburg. The recordings took place yesterday.
It is not yet known, which participating country will be shown in the recordings from Zeeland province. Around 400 unique locations from all across The Netherlands were submitted as possible locations for the postcards. Most of the submissions came from the South Holland and Drenthe provinces. Besides historical locations, the organisational team was looking for creative and innovative places that represent The Netherlands of today.
The image below shows the postcard which was filmed at the Kloeveniersdoelen in Middelburg.
The postcards are short clips that are played to the audience watching at home, while the crew prepares the stage for the next act.
The 2021 Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on 18th, 20th and 22nd of May.
