Fyr Og Flamme is a music duo from Denmark made up of Jesper Groth and Laurits Emanuel. The pair released their first two singles, titled “Menneskeforbruger” and “Kamæleon” in 2020, with their debut single reaching number one in the P3 Listen Danish chart.
In 2021, they took part in Denmark’s Eurovision selection show, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. Ten artists took part, with three qualifying to the super final round, including Fyr Og Flamme. The duo ended up winning the competition with 37% of the votes.
Fyr Og Flamme will represent Denmark at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. They will sing “Øve os på hinanden” in the second half of the second semi-final on May 20th. This is the first time that Denmark will be performing a song entirely in Danish at the contest since 1997.
