The official music video for “Tick-Tock” by Albina is set to be released tomorrow evening on HRT.
The music video for “Tick-Tock” will be revealed tomorrow evening during the evening news on HRT1. The video was directed by Sandra Mihaljević, and it was shot in various locations across Croatia.
Albina has also spoken about the version of the song she will perform at Eurovision:
I think it would be fairest to present ourselves with what they chose us for. We will reveal more details as time goes on and how we will work on the whole performance.
In the final of Dora she performed in both English and Croatian, however she has also recorded the song completely in English and Croatian.
Albina will perform in the second half of the first semi-final on May 18.
Who is Albina?
Albina Grčić, better known as Albina, was born on February 6 1999 in Split, Croatia’s second largest city. Last year, Albina participated in the third season of The Voice Hrvatska. She made it to the final of the competition, finishing third overall. In October, she released her debut single “Imuna na strah” (Immune to fear).
Albina was chosen to represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with “Tick Tock” after winning Dora 2021. She topped both the jury and public vote. The song was written by Branimir Mihaljević, who previously wrote “Lako je sve” (Croatia 2010) and “Crazy” (Croatia 2018) and was composed by Tihana Buklijaš Bakić and Max Cinnamon, who attempted to represent France in 2018.

Croatia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993, they were one of three countries to debut in the contest that year. Croatia’s best result came in 1999 when Doris Dragović finished 4th in Jerusalem. She performed the song “Marija Magdalena” which scored a total of 118 points, this included 12 points from Slovenia and Spain. Croatia returned to the contest in 2016 having withdrawn after the 2013 contest due to a string of poor results and financial difficulties.
