Last week Bulgarian broadcaster BNT has created a website for fans to express their thoughts on the six songs which are in the running to represent Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
According to Dir.bg, in a few hours more than ten thousand fans from all around the globe have used the opportunity to provide feedback to the delegation. BNT will take this public feedback into account when selecting their Eurovision 2021 entry.
The six songs in the running to be Victoria’s Eurovision song are as follows:
The deadline for giving feedback on the songs is February 28.
Victoria said the following about the selection process and the release of her songs:
“I cannot hide that I have two favourites from the songs in the running but the opinion of Bulgarians is most important to me, just like the opinion from viewers from Europe and Australia who might vote for Bulgaria.”
Who is Victoria Georgieva?
Victoria was announced as the 2020 Bulgarian representative in November 2019 during an official press conference regarding the nation’s return to the Eurovision Song Contest. The 23 year old X-Factor alum has big plans with her team for her Eurovision journey and subsequent career.
Victoria was set to perform “Tears Getting Sober” at Eurovision 2020. The song is written by VICTORIA, Borislav Milanov, Lukas Oscar and Cornelia Wiebols. Borislav has been involved in composing all Bulgarian entries since 2016.

At the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, 17-year-old Kristian Kostov finished in second place in the Grand Final, bringing Bulgaria their best ever result. 2017 saw Bulgaria make only their third final in their Eurovision history, the first being in 2007 when Elitsa & Stoyan finished 5th with the song “Water”. Bulgaria debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2005. The country competed annually from 2005 to 2013, before withdrawing for two years due to financial issues.
