Samanta Tīna is working with Latvian designer Kašers on her outfit for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
In the latest episode of Kā uzvarēt Eirovīzijā? Samantas Tīnas ceļš uz Roterdamu, it was revealed that Samanta is working with Kašers on the outfit she will wear at Eurovision 2021. The outfit that the singer will wear at Eurovision will be green, with Samanta asking for an outfit that is “a feminine dress to create the image of a goddess, it should not be girly or as from fashion week, on the contrary – a majestic and divine dress”
Kašers explained that he wants to make sure that Samanta has the perfect outfit:
It is important that it does not look like a costume on the opera stage, that it is modern, but with the features that Samanta said – it is divine, it is big, it is might.
Samanta Tīna’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will be released on March 12. Kā uzvarēt Eirovīzijā? Samantas Tīnas ceļš uz Roterdamu continues this Friday.
Latvia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000, being the last of the Baltic nations to join the contest. On their debut, Brainstorm finished in 3rd place with the song “My Star”. Latvia won the contest for the first and only time in 2002, with Marie N’s “I Wanna”. Latvia only participated in 2002 thanks to the withdrawal of Portugal from the contest, as Latvia’s poor result in 2001 had relegated them from the 2002 contest. Latvia struggled in to the contest after 2002, failing to qualify for the final for six years between 2009 and 2014. In 2015 and 2016 Latvia has finished 6th and 15th in the final respectively.
