Sabina Ddumba is the interval act for the third semi-final of Melodifestivalen, after SVT previously approached her to host.
Having been approached to host Melodifestivalen 2021 and turned it down due to prior commitments, Sabina Ddumba is set to perform as an interval act in tomorrow’s semi-final. Aftonbladet reports that Sabina was approached by the Swedish broadcasters to host one of this years shows but had to turn it down to existing commercial agreements which meant she was unable to work with SVT as a presenter.
When asked about whether she misses the chance to be presenting the show, she told Aftonbladet that:
I was never allowed to do it from the beginning, so it’s a little difficult to know what I’m missing out on. I’ll find out on Saturday. Then maybe I feel: “It would have been me”. But now I am very happy to be able to stand and sing there.
Performing in Semi-Final Three are:
- Charlotte Perelli – Still Young
- Emil Assergård – Om allting skiter sig
- Klara Hammarstrom – Beat of Broken Hearts
