Two former winners of The Voice of Poland are the latest rumors for the representative of Poland at Eurovision 2021.
Alicja Szemplińska and Krystian Ochman are currently being rumored as potential representatives of Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 according to Dziennik Eurowizyjny. The rumors come as today the Facebook account for TVP at Eurovision asked followers who they would like to see represent Poland in May.
Earlier this month images were posted on Instagram which showed Alicja Szemplińska in the recording studio with songwriter Piotr Walicki. Piotr then reposted the images to his story adding the Dutch flag in a Eurovision heart.
Krystian is also a winner of The Voice of Poland like Alicja and is being managed by Warner Music Poland. Since winning the contest his release ‘Światłocienie’ has been watched over 2.2 million times on YouTube and the singer is being heavily promoted.
Poland is one of just a handful of countries yet to announce any details of their plans for Eurovision 2021. The United Kingdom, Armenia and Russia are the other remaining countries who have yet to announce their act for the contest or plans for a selection.

Poland debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 alongside a number of other Eastern European countries. Their debut year saw their best result to date, as Edyta Gorniak finished in 2nd place with her song “To nie ja!”. Following this, Poland failed to repeat this initial success, managing a top 10 placing on only one other occasion during their initial 1994-2011 run in the contest. In 2012, following a string of non-qualifications, Poland withdrew from the contest due to financial difficulties. Since their return in 2014, they have been considerably more successful in the contest, having qualified for the final for every year up to 2017.
