Filming for the first heat of Pabandom iš Naujo! 2021 has taken place with the jury and presenters of the contest revealed.
Filming has been completed today in Vilnius for the first heat of the Lithuanian selection process for Eurovision 2021. A total of ten artists recorded their performances for the show which will be broadcast on Saturday evening.
LRT states that after each of the performances due to COVID-19 the stage is cleaned and disinfected. All acts are kept separate from one another and all crew wore face coverings.
The running order for heat one is as follows:
- Black Spikes & Indrė Launikonytė – Don’t Tell Me
- Thomukas – Wish
- Be U – Love Yourself
- Voldemars Petersons – I Never Fall for You Again
- Martyna Jezepčikaitė – F**k You Very Much
- Donata Virbilaitė – The Way I Am
- Twosome – I Love My Bear
- Milita Daikerytė – Shadows
- Aldegunda – Sit Down
- Titas & Benas – No

In each heat five acts will qualify for the next stage of the competition. The qualifiers will be chosen by 50% public televote and 50% jury voting. The jury for each show will change. The jury for show one is as follows:
- Ramūnas Zilnys – LRT popular music Editor-in-Chief
- Jievaras Jasinskis – Composer and arranger
- Vytautas Bikus – Songwriter and composer
- Ieva Narkutė – Performer
- Aistė Smilgevičiūtė – Lithuanian representative in Eurovision 1999
Three people will host this years selection. They are Vytautas Rumšas, Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė and Vaidas Baumila. Fans of the Eurovision Song Contest will recognise Vaidas Baumila as part of the duo who represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

Lithuania debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, however on their debut they finished in last place with nul points. Lithuania didn’t return to the contest until 1999 when Aiste finished 20th with the song “Strazdas”. Lithuania’s best result came in 2006 when LT United performed “We Are The Winners”; they finished 6th in the final with a total of 162 points. Lithuania’s only other top 10 finish came in 2016 when Donny Montell performed “I’ve Been Waiting For This Night” in Stockholm, he received 12 points from the public in Ireland, Norway & United Kingdom.
