The first postcard for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has been filmed.
Preparations for the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest are well underway, with the first of 41 postcards recorded. Around 400 unique locations from all across The Netherlands were submitted as possible locations for the postcards. Most of the submissions came from the South Holland and Drenthe provinces.

The postcards are short clips that are played to the audience watching at home, while the crew prepares the stage for the next act. The recordings for the remaining postcards is expected to take place over the next few months.
The 2021 Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on 18th, 20th and 22nd of May.
