GPB has revealed that Sandra Gadelia was isolating during the broadcast of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
Sandra Gadelia was isolating during the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 which was broadcast this evening. The Georgian broadcaster confirmed that the singer was by herself in a green room at the GPB studios during the show.
The singer had been due to be joined by her four dancers during the the show however due to a change in condition, she had to be by herself. Sandra was one of two acts to be alone during the course of the show, the other act was Sofia Feskova of Russia.
Sandra Gadelia placed 6th for Georgia in the final of Junior Eurovision 2020. The singer received 12 points from the Spanish and Ukrainian juries and was 4th in the jury vote, however she finished 11th in the online vote.
Who is Sandra Gadelia?
Ten-year-old Sandra Gadelia was born in 2010 in Tbilisi, Georgia. She began singing at a young age and will be Georgia’s 14th participant at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Her idols are Jessie J, Scorpions, and Louis Armstrong.
Sandra was selected to represent her country after winning Ranina, Georgia’s Junior Eurovision selection show. She will be singing “You Are Not Alone”, a song written and composed by Giga Kukhianidze and Temo Sajaia.
