Ksenia Galetskaya will be revealing the results of the Belarusian jury at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
Ksenia Galetskaya, the winner of the children’s contest at Slavianski Bazaar in 2019, will be revealing the results of the Belarusian jury vote this Sunday. Ksenia is no stranger to announcing the results at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. In 2018 she was the spokesperson for the Australian jury when local children announced a number of results at the contest in Minsk.
The results of the national juries will be revealed by spokespersons who, for the first time since 2012, will be located in their home countries rather than in the venue itself. The spokespersons revealed so far are:
- Belarus – Ksenia Galetskaya
- Georgia – Marita Khvedelidze
- Kazakhstan – Saniya Zholzhaxynova
- Netherlands – Robin de Haas
- Russia – Mikella Abramova
- Serbia – Darija Vračević
- Spain – Melani García
- Ukraine – Sophia Ivanko
BTRC has also confirmed that Pavel Lazovik will be the Belarusian commentator for the contest on Sunday evening.
Who is Arina Pehtereva?
Twelve-year-old Arina Pehtereva was born in Mogilev, Belarus. She began her singing lessons at six years old, and has since participated in numerous national and international competitions, including The Voice Kids. The singer is no stranger to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, having participated in the Belarusian national final on multiple occasions.
Arina was internally selected by BTRC to represent her country at this year’s contest with her song “Aliens”.
