The first look at Sofia Feskova’s performance for Russia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest has been released.
Sofia is performing alone on stage in a blue dress that was made especially for Junior Eurovision. The LED background is similar to that of the national final performance. As previously reported, Sofia’s performance will also feature augmented reality.
Russia was one of eight delegations that opted to record their performance in their own country. The recording of the Russian performance took place in Moscow at the end of October.
Who is Sofia Feskova?
Eleven-year-old Sofia Feskova is from St. Petersburg, Russia. The singer is no stranger to competitions, having competed in the Junior New Wave competition and making it to the final. Sofia competed in the Russian Junior Eurovision selection this year, finishing in 1st place, 6 points ahead of runner up Rutger Garecht.
