The Opening Ceremony for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 has concluded with parts of the running order now filled in.
The Opening Ceremony for the 18th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest has concluded in Warsaw, Poland with the first details of the running order revealed.
As its tradition the running order for the host nation was drawn, while the countries that will open and close the show were also determined by random draw. Poland who are hosting the contest for a second time will perform in 6th position. In addition Germany was drawn to open the show while France will close the competition.
- Opening Act – Germany
- Host Nations Slot – 6th
- Closing Act – France
This leaves the remaining nine countries to have their position in the running order determined by the shows producers. The running order will likely be announced later this evening.
Twelve countries will take part in Junior Eurovision 2020 on November 29 in Warsaw. They are:
- Belarus – Arina Pehtereva – “Aliens”
- France – Valentina – “J’imagine”
- Georgia – Sandra Gadelia – “You Are Not Alone”
- Germany – Susan – “Stronger With You”
- Kazakhstan – Karakat Bashanova – “Forever”
- Malta – Chanel Monseigneur – “Chasing Sunsets”
- Netherlands – Unity – “Best Friends”
- Poland – Ala Tracz – “I’ll Be Standing”
- Russia – Sofia Feskova – “Moy novy den”
- Serbia – Petar Aničić – “Heartbeat”
- Spain – Soleá – “Palante”
- Ukraine – Oleksandr Balabanov – “Vidkryvai”
