Go_A have decided what their song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will be about.
Kateryna Pavlenko has informed UA:PBC that Go_A have determined the topic of their song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Speaking to the Ukrainian public broadcaster she explained:
I am inspired by new impressions, as far as possible in quarantine, and generate them into creativity. It seems that I have finally found the topic I want to reveal in the song, so I am additionally studying the materials that will help to understand it,
She went on to add that the new Ukrainian entry will not be similar to “Solovey”. Neither UA:PBC or STB have announced any details regarding the Ukrainian selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest. However the latest details indicate that a televised selection process will be unlikely if only one song is being worked on.

Ukraine first participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003, when Oleksandr Ponomariov performed “Hasta la vista”. The following year Ruslana brought the country their first win with the song “Wild Dances”. It was a feat that would be replicated in 2016 by Jamala with her song “1944”; her emotionally charged song scored a record 534 points to take victory in Stockholm. In 2017 O.Torvald represented the country on home soil with the song “Time”. The group finished in 24th place, Ukraine’s worst result at the contest to date.
