Chanel Monseigneur is in the midst of preparations for representing Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Since winning the Maltese selection for Junior Eurovision 2020, Chanel Monseigneur has been busy preparing for the competition. In recent weeks the singer has met with the Prime Minister of Malta to congratulate her on her victory and returned to the PBS studios to be gifted her winners trophy.

Her focus has now shifted to preparing for the competition and has been busy rehearsing with coaches to get herself ready for recording her performance. Chanel will be performing the song ‘Chasing Sunsets’ for Malta this November.
Who is Chanel Monseigneur?
Chanel Monseigneur is a nine-year-old singer from Mosta. She began singing at the age of six and recently began piano lessons. She began competing in international singing competitions in 2018, where she won the Music Talent League in Lithuania and has since won the Talent World Contest in Italy and the Riga Symphony competition in Latvia.

Malta debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and has gone on to win the contest twice. In 2013 on their return to the competition in Kyiv, Gaia Cauchi won the competition with “The Start”, she was the first winner of a Eurovision event for Malta. In 2015 Destiny Chukunyere took victory in Sofia, Bulgaria with the song “Not My Soul”. Malta finished last at the 2005 contest in Belgium with the song “Make It Right” performed by Thea & Friends.
