The music video for “Palante”, the Spanish entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020, has been released.
The music video was revealed on the official RTVE Eurovision website today. The video was shot in Madrid and Seville.
The song was written and produced by Bruno Valverde, ASHA & César G. Ross. All are established songwriters and producers having worked with some of the biggest names in Latin music. Among the artists they have worked with are Ricky Martin, Pastora Soler, Álvaro Soler and Álex Ubago.
Vicky Gómez and Natalia Calderón, both of whom have worked on Operación Triunfo, will be helping Soleá with her performance. Vicky will be the vocal coach while Natalia is choreographing her performance.
On stage Soleá is set to be joined by four young dancers between the ages of 11 and 13. The dancers are Lucía Arcos, Tania Gálvez, Carlos Damas and Iván Cuadros.
Junior Eurovision 2020 is to due be held on November 29 in the Polish capital of Warsaw. The competition is being hosted by the Polish public broadcaster TVP, after Viki Gabor took the victory with the song “Superhero”. The show will be staged in a TV studio facility in Warsaw, not a large arena as has been seen in previous years.

Spain in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Spain first took part in the contest in 2003 and participated every year between then and 2006. In 2004, María Isabel brought Spain their only victory so far with “Antes muerta que sencilla”. After an absence of 13 years, Spain returned to the contest last year with “Marte” by Melani García. Spain have finished in the top 5 in all 5 of their attempts.
