SVT has revealed that the first 14 songs that will compete in Melodifestivalen 2021 have been selected.
14 out of the 28 songs that will compete in Melodifestivalen 2021 have been selected. The songs were selected after a week of assessments from a jury who listened to the songs that were submitted to compete in next years Swedish selection.
The remaining 14 songs will be selected directly by SVT in co-operation with record labels. This will likely also include the song that the P4 Nästa winner Julia Alfrida will perform on stage in the new year.
The acts and the titles of the songs that will be competing in Melodifestivalen are traditionally revealed in late November. The songs will then be revealed during the week before each of the semi-finals.
