Ali Okapov has revealed the titles of the two songs he has written for the Kazakh Junior Eurovision selection on Saturday.
Kazakh pop singer Ali Okapov has revealed that he has written two of the entries competing in the final of the Kazakh Junior Eurovision selection this weekend. The singer has written the songs for Jan Makim and Ayım Mukıtanova.
Both of the songs he has written are dance songs, one titled “Asyl Arman” and the other “Kazhayp sheksizdik”. The songs were written in just the week and feature lyrics in English, Russian and Kazakh.
The Kazakh selection takes place on September 26, with twelve acts competing to represent their nation at the contest in November. The twelve acts are:

- Aydana Jumajan
- Akjibek Manarbekkızı
- Kamila Gazizkızı
- Ayım Mukitanova
- Mahinur Tursunova
- Saniya Altınbekkızı
- Aykerim Tleubek
- Jan Makim
- Başanova Karakat
- Nurşat Kusanova
The winner of the Kazakh national final will be selected entirely by public voting, the public will be able to vote by calling or SMS. In the event that two acts receive the exact same number of votes, the jury will determine the winner.
