“Hello” is the song that the two artists who qualified performing covers will compete with in the Ukrainian Junior Eurovision selection.
Nikita Achkasov and Darin Osman will be competing in the Ukrainian Junior Eurovision selection with the song “Hello”. Nikita and Darin were the two acts who qualified for the final of the show performing covers. The singers worked with UA:PBC to find a song for them to perform in the show.
“Hello” was written by Maryna Krut and Mykhailo Klymenko. Maryna explained:
Creating the song, we tried to combine in words the Ukrainian ethnic famous hooks, and in the music – a reliable sound that should sit in the ears of listeners. We were inspired by the best song references we have heard in the history of Eurovision.
Voting for the final round of the selection opens on September 5 and closes on September 7. The winner of the Ukrainian selection process is being determined by a combination of online voting and a professional jury. The results will be announced no later than September 12.
Sophia Ivanko represented Ukraine last year in Gliwice with her self-composed entry “The Spirit of Music”. She finished 15th with 59 points.
