Khabar has revealed the thirty acts who are in the running to represent Kazakhstan at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
A jury has assessed 684 submissions to represent Kazakhstan in Warsaw, with 30 now shortlisted to compete in an online semi-final. The 30 acts were selected by a jury formed of:
The jury that will select the 30 shortlisted acts are:
- Bagym Mukhitdenova – Music Producer
- Khamit Shangaliyev – Music Producer, Composer and Sound Producer
- Erlan Bekchurin – Producer for Dimash Kudaibergen
- Zhanar Dugalova – Winner of the Turkvision Song Contest 2014
- Amre – Winner of Slavianski Bazaar 2018
- Dinaya – Second Place at New Wave Junior in 2015
- ZaQ – Soloist of the group ‘Ninety One’
- Indira Edulbayeva – Superfinalist in the Voice of Ukraine 2020
- Isa Melikov – Head of Delegation for Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest
Just 12 acts will qualify from the online semi-final for the televised final at the end of September. The qualifiers will be selected by public voting which will take place between August 24 and 31.

The winner of the Kazakh national final will be selected entirely by public voting, the public will be able to vote by calling or SMS. In the event that two acts receive the exact same number of votes, the jury will determine the winner. Khabar has stated that the format of the national selection and location of the show will be subject to COVID-19.
