In Bulgaria the Black Sea Eurovision Songwriting Camp commences today, with ten days of collaboration between producers, composers and songwriters from across Europe.
Today is the first day of the Black Sea Eurovision Songwriting Camp, the event which is taking place over ten days is aiming to write a number of songs to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Hosting the camp is Victoria who will be representing Bulgaria at the 2021 contest, she will be working on a number of songs for next years Eurovision Song Contest.
The camp is being held at the Sea Casino, Radio Burgas and Forest Beach in Primorsko. The event which is being promoted on social media will also see other Eurovision artists attending. Two concerts are set to be held featuring Victoria and the attending artists, the first on August 21 in Primorsko, followed by Burgas on August 22, more details can be found here.

At the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, 17-year-old Kristian Kostov finished in second place in the Grand Final, bringing Bulgaria their best ever result. 2017 saw Bulgaria make only their third final in their Eurovision history, the first being in 2007 when Elitsa & Stoyan finished 5th with the song “Water”. Bulgaria debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2005. The country competed annually from 2005 to 2013, before withdrawing for two years due to financial issues.
