UA:PBC has confirmed that it is currently discussing how they will select the Ukrainian participant in Junior Eurovision 2020.
The Ukrainian public broadcaster has reconfirmed to Eurovoix that they will be participating in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020. The Press Department also added that discussions are currently ongoing regarding how the broadcaster will select the Ukrainian entrant for Warsaw.
For the past two years Ukraine has held an online selection, in 2018 online voting selected the winner while in 2019 it was jury voting that selected the nations representative. Previously Ukraine had held televised selections to determine the Ukrainian entrant.
Sophia Ivanko represented Ukraine last year in Gliwice with her self-composed entry “The Spirit of Music”. She finished 15th with 59 points.
