France Televisions will announce the nations representative for Junior Eurovision 2020 at the start of September.
Alexandra Redde-Amiel the Head of Delegation for France has announced that the nations participant for Junior Eurovision 2020, will be announced at the start of the next school year in the country. This means that the French representative for the contest in Warsaw will be announced at the start of September.
The interview with OZAP confirms that France will be among the nations set to compete in Warsaw this November, having previously stated that the broadcaster was interested in participating.
At the 2019 contest, France were represented by Carla with the song “Bim Bam Toi”. Eventually the country finished in 5th place with 169 points. This marks their second best result following last year when they finished 2nd with “Jamais sans toi” by Angelina.
Junior Eurovision 2020
Junior Eurovision 2020 is to be held on November 29 in the Polish capital of Warsaw. The competition is being hosted by the Polish public broadcaster TVP, after Viki Gabor took victory with the song “Superhero”. The show will be staged in a TV studio facility in Warsaw, not a large arena as has been seen in previous years.
