Serbia will participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster, confirmed to Eurofestivales that they would participate in Junior Eurovision 2020. It has not yet been confirmed how the Serbian participant for Warsaw will be selected. Since their return to the contest in 2014, all Serbian participants have been internally selected except in 2017.
Darija Vračević represented Serbia in last year’s contest in Gliwice with “Podigni glas”. She finished 10th with 109 points.
Junior Eurovision 2020
Junior Eurovision 2020 is to be held on November 29 in the Polish capital of Warsaw. The competition is being hosted by the Polish public broadcaster TVP, after Viki Gabor took victory with the song “Superhero”. The show will be staged in a TV studio facility in Warsaw, not a large arena as has been seen in previous years.

Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest
Serbia made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as an independent country in 2006. They were represented by Neustrašivi učitelji stranih jezika on their debut with the song “Učimo strane jezike”, finishing 5th with 81 points. Serbia went on to compete annually until 2010, after which point RTS withdrew from the contest due to financial difficulties. Serbia returned to the contest in 2014 and has gone on to compete in the contest annually.
