Dziennik Eurowizyjny reports that there are two potential venues for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Poland.
Two venues are in the running to hold the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 later this year in Warsaw. Both are television studios that have been used by TVP for large scale productions.
ATM Studio is the newest and one of the most modern studios in Poland. Its largest studios has a space of 1,500 square meteres and has been the location for Bitwa na Głosy or The Voice of Poland. Should an audience be allowed to attend the competition, an audience of up to 1,300 can be seated in the studio.
Transcolor Studio in Szeligi is the second potential venue for the contest. The studio has been the home of a number of TVN productions and also has a studio which is 1,500 square meters. The advantage that the Transcolor Studio has over ATM is that the ceiling is rated for up to 70 tons lifting capability, as result it would provide a number of lighting and production possibilities.
Junior Eurovision 2020 is to be held on November 29 in the Polish capital, Warsaw. The competition is being hosted by the Polish public broadcaster TVP, after Viki Gabor took victory with the song “Superhero”. The show will be staged in a TV studio facility in Warsaw, not a large arena as has been seen in previous years.
